Armed with a mix of polished, modern country and a high energy live show, Troubadour became one of the Midwest’s top drawing club and festival acts. Although new in name, the members of the group are no strangers to the dancehalls, honky-tonks and beer joints that line the highways across the United States. Having worked together musically since 2005, founding members Romyn Hanks (guitar/vocals) and Rick Schroeder (steel guitar/vocals) enlisted the help of two close friends and former band mates, Rick Runde (bass guitar/vocals) and Kory Werlinger (drums/vocals) to form Troubadour. In July of 2011 after Kory’s retirement from the group, the powerhouse drumming and percussion skills of Jesse Schmidt (drums/percussion/vocals) were added to ring in a new, and exciting era for the band.

With an extensive touring schedule since 2010, Troubadour has since played America’s Premiere Country Music Festival; “We Fest”, and have shared the stage with many national acts throughout the region.
